Floral on Nude

Hi everyone! Today I have some simple but pretty Spring nail art for you! I have done manicures like this in the past but often on a coloured base.

I was inspired by @coyarose on Instagram to do some over a nude base. She did Forget-me-nots in blue. I chose to do some flowers in my favourite colour loosely inspired by some I have in my garden. Google tells me they're called Grape Hyacinths or Muscari.

I started out my mani with 2 thin coats of Essie BBF Best Boyfriend and then used acrylic paints, a fine detail brush and a small dotting tool to paint the grass then the flowers. I finished with topcoat as always to seal the design. It's been a while since I wore a full mani of florals and I missed it so much! Florals are my favourite!

What do you think of this mani? I love it and it fits in well with my current obsession with nude nails or nail art on a nude base!

Essie BBF Best Boyfriend + Shine Of The Times

Hi everyone! I'm gonna be super predictable and post another mani today using Essie BBF Best Boyfriend. I know, I know, more nude and the same one to boot. So I'll keep the description short and sweet.

I used 2 coats of BBF and then added a coat of Shine of the Times on the top and finished with topcoat. Shine of the Times is for sure one of my favourite toppers ever. I wish I had a back-up bottle so I could wear it way more without worrying about using it all! I love the shiftiness of the flakes and how it looks so different over different colours.

Hope you like it too!

Minimalist nude, black, white

Hi everyone! Hope you're all well. Sorry that things are a bit quiet around here. I'm in the last month of pregnancy so a little busy and a little tired! Ha! I'll be trying to post for you the manis I've worn recently and already photographed but I'm not sure how much I'll be doing my nails in the weeks to come. I'll pop in when I can but I'll probably still be pretty active on Instagram if you would like to follow me and interact over there! I've been posting more often there than on the blog, not always just nails but a random mix of things that make me happy! But still quite a bit of nail related content for sure.

Anyways, now I've finished rambling on there... I wanted to show you a simple nude, minimalist nail art I wore recently. This is my obsession at the moment. Nude and minimalist. You might have already picked up on it but Essie BBF Best Boyfriend is seriously getting a lot of use around here at the minute! For this mani I started out with 2 coats of BBF and then used a dotting tool, OPI Alpine Snow (white creme) and A England Camelot (black creme) to make a line of overlapping, alternating dots. I finished with topcoat as always being very careful not to smear... It happened a little which was pretty much sure with black and white dots like this. But not too drastic thankfully and I was able to 'minimise' it quickly!

What do you think of this nail art? I ABSOLUTELY love it and want to wear it again in all the colours!
