Hi everyone! Today I have another group exclusive from Alter Ego to show you! This one is the Alter Ego fan group polish for April.
Unakite is a sheer khaki base filled with pink shimmer and fine holo shimmer. I used 3 coats, no topcoat. The formula is good but obviously if you prefer no VNL, you might want to use some undies. I think a khaki creme would be perfect. I like how this looks alone as well though, the shimmer makes it so pretty.
Unakite will be available for the month of March in 2 sizes and for Cynthia's regular prices 8.5ml for $5 and 17ml for $10. Don't forget to join the Alter Ego Facebook group to be able to purchase.

Hi everyone! I have the Alter Ego April Polish Pickup polish to show you today!
The theme for April is 'Famous Works of Art'. Vega 200 Vasarely 1968 is inspired by artist Victor Vasarely. I wasn't familiar with his work but a bit of googling showed me it is funky and colourful, perfect for nail polish inspiration.
Vega 200 Vasarely 1968 is a vibrant green creme with bluem orange and red metallic flakes. I used 2 coats, no topcoat. The formula was good. This one doesn't dry completely smooth due to the flakes so I'd recommend a good coat of topcoat for sure.
Vega 200 Vasarely 1968 will be available from April 5th to April 8th. The polish will retail for $8.50. No cap.

Hi everyone! Today I have a mani with one of my favourite polishes in my collection. This beauty is Cirque Colors Halcyon, a gorgeous rose-gold/copper metallic flake polish. It is so SHINY!
I started out with 2 coats of Halycon. As much as I love this polish on it's own, I fancied some nail art and...shock horror...actually had time to do some! So I pulled out my white acrylic paint and detail brush and painted some quick flowers at the base of my nails. I added some dots with a dotting tool and then finished the centres of the flowers with Girly Bits Another Brick in the Fall, which accents Halycon perfectly. I finished with topcoat as always!
What do you think? I always go back to this design and love doing different variations of it. It always looks so pretty and it never gets old for me.
