Simple Spring Negative Space Flowers

Hi everyone! I'm feeling an urge to do more nail art right now after posting a few simple swatches. It's nice to change things up sometimes and keep it simple but you know my real love is nail art.

I'm completely sick of the cold, snow, rain, ice mess we've been having recently and can't wait for Spring! I decided to pull out some bright pastels and do some spring-y flowers!

I started out with 2 coats of Essie BBF Best Boyfriend. This is my go-to basic nude sheer polish, especially for negative space. It's like you're not wearing polish but it makes your nails look great. I absolutely LOVE it. I then used a coat of China Glaze Fairy Dust to add some sparkle. I've recently rediscovered this polish and can't stop using it again. I have this phase every once in a while.

I then used my Lime Crime Les Desserts d'Antoinette collection and a dotting tool to make the flowers. I used all of the shades except Milky Ways. I finished with topcoat as always, making sure not to smear the dots.

What do you think of it? I love a good negative space mani and this one really got me in the mood for Spring!!
