Indigo Rainbow Gradient Foil & Lina Stamping

Hi everyone! Today I have some super funky nails to share with you! I have wanted to do these for ages and finally got around to it this week.

I purchased this rainbow gradient foil from Indigo nails a while ago and kind of forgot about it for a while as well. Well I decided to use it for a full mani to show the gradient well.

I started out over a dark base (I was already wearing Essie No More Film, a dark blue creme), applied foil glue then the foil. I need to get some new foil glue or foil transfer gel as the one I have isn't that great and I don't like the tiny brush. The small brush works better for nail art with foils not so much for full nail application.

I topped the foil with a coat of Girly Bits Seal the Deal gel topcoat which works perfectly with foils. I wore my mani like that for one day until I had time to add some stamping as planned. You can check out the quick videos I posted on Instagram (here and here)to see how shiny and blingy they are!

I then used Lina Nail Art Supplies Let's Doodle 01 plate to stamp some flowers in black and topped with my regular topcoat!

I absolutely loved wearing these, they were so fun and blingy! What do you think of them? Are you a fan of nail foils too?

OPI Merry Midnight

Hi everyone! Hope you're having a great weekend so far! I'm popping in today to share a really short and sweet post with you of one of my favourite polishes!

This stunner is OPI Merry Midnight (from the Holiday Wishes 2009 collection) and is an old favourite from my stash. I really really wanted this polish and somehow I never got around to blogging it when I got it! I'm fixing that now because this baby deserves to be shown off!

I used 2 coats of Merry Midnight, a deep purple with opalescent glitter and flakes! The flakes flash red and I love the combo with the purple base! This is such a me colour! We know how much I love purple and flakes!

What do you think of this one? What are you favourite OPI polishes? I wish OPI would do more complex finishes like this again with flakes etc!

Gold Terrarium Inspired Stamping

Hi everyone! You might have seen my recent post with my terrarium-inspired freehand nail art. I loved it so much I decided to do another simpler version but with a similar feel and the same inspiration!

So here are my stamped terrarium inspired nails! I used the same base as in my last post, OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls because it's just perfection. One of my favourite polishes ever, alone or as a base for nail art. I used 2 coats then moved on to the stamping.

I used Essie Good as Gold and MoYou Holy Shapes 03 plate to stamp the geometric image to mimic the sides of a metallic terrarium. I then added leaves from the Lina Nail Art Supplies Autumn 01 plate using Girly Bits It's Near Leaf All. In case you hadn't noticed, I'm a bit obsessed with my Girly Bits Fall cremes! As always I finished everything with topcoat.

Although I don't love these quite as much as my original freehand, I still think they're fun! Good result for not much effort! What do you think? Do you prefer freehand or stamping?

Retro Flowers - Reverse Stamping with Girly Bits Fall Cremes

Hi everyone! Today I have a bit of a different mani to share with you. I really wanted to play with the fall cremes I got from Girly Bits and do something a bit different to what I'd usually wear. I ended up with this funky floral reverse stamping which feels very retro, like 70's fabric or wallpaper or something. I don't know about you, but I kind of love it.

I'll start out by saying that this mani was just the worst to photograph and made me look like I had lobster hands, even though it looked way less like that in real life. Please forgive me for that!

So I started out with one coat of Girly Bits Another Brick in the Fall which is a gorgeous terracotta creme with basically the most perfect formula ever. Smooth application and super opaque.

I then used Acornucopia (reddish brown creme) and Lina Nail Art Supplies Let's Doodle 01 plate for the flower design which I coloured using Butternut Leave Me (mustard creme) and a touch of Essie Good as Gold for the centre.

I finished off as always with a coat of topcoat. I loved wearing these and I'm chuffed with the Girly Bits cremes I ordered. They're so versatile and I can't wait to get some more!

What do you think of this mani? Have you tried out any of Pam's Fall Creme collection?

Neon Abstract Marble

Hi everyone! Today I have some BRIGHT nails to show you! I needed a bit of a change from the dark or plain nails I've been wearing a lot recently and decided to pull out my Pipe Dream Polish A Night In Vegas Cremes for a fun neon marble!

I started out with 2 coats of OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls, an off white, grey toned creme. I then used most of the ANIVC collection and Clearwater (a clear polish made for marbling also by Pipe Dream Polish) to create the watermarble. Instead of creating a specific design like usual I decided to go crazy and dip a few nails at once to get a really random pattern.

I'll admit, I wish all of my nails turned out as nice as the middle ones or my thumb but they didn't and hey ho, I couldn't be bothered to fix it. Just being real! I then topped my mani off with a coat of Essie Pure Pearlfection to add some pearly shimmer and then I applied a coat of regular topcoat.

What do you think of this mani? It's a shame the ANIVC cremes are no longer available because they are amazing. I always come back to fun marbles with them!
