A England Anne Boleyn & Stars

Hi everyone! Today I've got the beautiful Anne Boleyn from the Tudoresque collection to show you! I had wanted to order this beauty when it came out but it was out of stock on the Pshiiit Boutique when I went to purchase so I ended up waiting a while. I finally got around to ordering it last week and was really excited. I love love love A England reds and this one looked so beautiful I knew I had to have it (who am I kidding, I have to have ALL A England polishes...the others will be mine at some point haha)!

I couldn't wait to try it out and decided to do a little bit of nail art with it. Anne Boleyn is super pigmented and rich, like most of Adina's polishes, so I knew it would work great for some stamping. I started out my mani with 2 coats of Anne Boleyn on all nails except 2. I used OPI My Vampire is Buff on the 2 accent nails. The formula of Anne Boleyn is exceptional and the new rounder A England brush is perfection. I didn't think the brand could get much better but wow. Application was super easy and next to no clean up required (I did it because I'm a bit obsessive like that).

I used Anne Boleyn and my new MoYou Scandi 10 stamping plate to stamp the stars over the nude nails and finished with topcoat. I couldn't resist this stamping plate after all of Camille's posts of it over on the Pshiiit instagram!

What do you think of this colour? Did you pick up any of the Tudoresque collection?

Gold Terrarium Inspired Freehand

Hi everyone! Today I have a fun mani to share with you that I absolutely loved wearing.

I've been admiring all the metallic terrariums and planters which seem to be a thing right now with big leafy green plants. I definitely have some on my wishlist for my house but until I get round to getting some I thought why not try some nail art instead?

I started out with 2 coats of OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls and added some stripes and geometric shapes using a OPI Love.Angel.Music.Baby to imitate the metallic sides of the geometric planters I've been seeing online. I then used a small detail brush and green acrylic paints to paint the leaves. The shape of the leaves is loosely inspired by Monstera plants and their funky shape! I finished everything off with topcoat as always.

What do you think of these? Do you like this type of plant? I can't wait to finally get one for my house! I'll just hope it lasts longer than this mani and I don't kill it like most other plants!

Chanel Graphite & Floral Stamping

Hi everyone! Today's post is a mani I wore a little while ago for my anniversary dinner with my husband. I wasn't sure what I was going to be wearing so I wanted something that would match a maximum of options. I ended up with Chanel Graphite and some simple black stamping!

I started out with 2 coats of Chanel Graphite which was one of my first Chanel polishes. I feel like this is a classic. It's just sparkly enough to be special yet classy with the gunmetal grey colour. I love it. The formula is really nice too.

I then used Lina Nail Art Supples Let's Doodle! 01 plate and a black stamping polish (Konad) for the floral design and finished with topcoat as always! It was perfect for my evening out! What do you think of it? Do you have Graphite?

Girly Bits Winter Whispers (Fantasmic Flakies Group Custom)

Hi everyone! Happy New Year! For the first post of 2018 I have a gorgeous polish from Girly Bits Cosmetics to share with you! This is Winter Whispers, an exclusive for the Fantasmic Flakies Facebook group which was available for purchase to members of the group during the month of December. Therefore, I'm sorry to say, it's already no longer available. I would have blogged it sooner but only just got it due to some long international shipping and my package being kept at the post office over Christmas...

I was thrilled to finally get this beauty on my nails and I was not at all disappointed. I purchased this immediately when it became available and it's everything I hoped. Pam from Girly Bits describes Winter Whispers as a 'lovely icy blue crelly base swimming with pink to gold shifting shimmer, microscopic holographic glitter, gold flakes, and a multitude of multichrome flakes in violet, blue, green, purple, and gold'. I used 2 coats and the formula was excellent, just as I expect from Girly Bits. I finished with topcoat as always. You might know by now that I'm a huge fan of the complex finishes from Girly Bits and this is yet another one I know I will wear again and again.

I'm sorry this one is no longer available but Pam does amazing polishes in both her core collections and Color of the Month Duos as well as various other exclusives so be sure to keep up with what she's making!
