For Day 1, I have recreated a mani by our Digit-al Dozen leader Debbie from The Crumpet! Some of my favourite Crumpet manis are dotticures and designs using dots and I knew I just had to do this simple and striking dotted floral!

I don't have the same polishes Debbie used but I found some I think work well. I started out with 2 coats of OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls, one of the best nail art base colours ever! I am so in love with this polish. Whether it is decorated or alone it always looks fantastic. I then used a large dotting tool and OPI Pink Flamenco, OPI Toucan Do It If You Try and OPI Big Apple Red to create the flowers. I then used a small dotting tool and black polish (A England Camelot) to add the small dots in the centres of the flowers.

Debbie wore this design matte but I forgot and applied shiny topcoat. I loved how it looked so I left it like that. I'm more of a shiny mani girl anyway! Thanks for the inspiration Crumpet! I think I will definitely be redoing this design in the future!
