Elevation Polish - East London

Hi everyone! I have a simple but pretty mani to share with you today. I feel like this is a bit of a different sort of mani for me, quite understated and not a pairing I'd usually make when it comes to nail polish.

Ever since my bottle of Elevation Polish East London (Street Graffiti Collection, June 2015) arrived, I had been trying to decide what colour to wear it over. East London is described by Lulu as a 'Blend of Ultra Chrome flake shimmer and holographic pigment in a clear base. Meant to be used as a topper.'

Many of the swatches I had seen of it had been over Elevation Polish LA (from the same collection) or other light colours. I loved the look and decided to go even lighter and more delicate on the base. I chose my faithful nude Essie BBF Best Boyfriend. Typically I use this polish for french manicures when I want a really natural look. It's like my nails but better. It was a nice delicate undie for East London and avoided any VNL (visible nail line). I used 2 coats of BBF and then added 2 coats of East London and finished with topcoat.

The formula of East London is fantastic. You could wear just one coat too because there are so many flakes and you don't have to fish at all. The holo finish combined with the flakes is really pretty. I absolutely love the different sized flakies and especially the big ones that got onto a couple of my nails!

Cirque Colors - Coronation

Hi everyone! Today's polish is one that was on my wishlist for a very long time until just recently when I managed to snag it.

Cirque Colors - Coronation

Cirque Coronation was originaly released with a ring as a collaboration with Jeannie Vianney and although I loved the look of the polish, the ring wasn't my style so I held off purchasing. However Nordstrom stocked it as part of a pop up collection along with some other shades and without the ring. I just couldn't pass it up and now this beauty is mine!

There are so many things I love about this polish. The rich purple colour, the striking red shimmer, the colour-shift and the touch of micro-glitter that combine perfectly, This colour is so decadent! Not to mention the fabulous formula and easy application. I used 2 coats plus topcoat.
