Pink Flamingoes - Pipe Dream Polish - On The List

Hi everyone! Today I have a simple but fun summer mani for you. I hae been dying to try my Pipe Dream Polish neons since I got them a while ago and I finally took advantage of the great weather we've been having to do myself a summery mani.

Pink Flamingoes - Pipe Dream Polish - On The List (ANIVC)

This is On The List, the bright pink neon from the A Night In Vegas Cremes collection. It is sooo beautiful and crazy bright. I used 2 coats of On The List for my plain nails. The formula was really good for a neon. Easily the best neon polish I've tried so far. The first coat dragged a little bit but the second coat evened everything out perfectly! I also know what to expect now so I think I'll have less dragging next time.

Pink Flamingoes - Pipe Dream Polish - On The List (ANIVC)

For the flamingo nails I used 2 coats of Sinful Colors Snow Me White and stamped the flamingo design from the Moyou Tropical 5 plate with On The List. On The List worked amazingly for stamping as you can see! I love how the bright pink pops against the white and this was a really fun summery mani for the weekend.

I finished everything off with a coat of topcoat. Like most neons, On The List dries to a satin matte type finish. I can't wait to try out the rest of the A Night In Vegas collection!

What do you think of this mani? Have you picked up any neon polishes recently?

Ozotic 505

Hi everyone! Today I have an oldie but goodie polish to show you, Ozotic 505. I recently got THAT Starbucks tumbler...I'm sure you're familiar with it by now and was inspired to pull this beautiful out of my Helmer to have nails to match!

Ozotic 505

Ozotic 505 still has the same effect on me as it did the day I bought it. I'm a huge fan of the Ozotic 500 series and was in awe when I discovered them. I still couldn't stop staring at my nails while wearing this. It's love.

Ozotic 505

Ozotic 505

I used 2 coats of 505 over one coat of A England Camelot (the most perfect black polish). Ozotic 505, like all of the Ozotic 500 mulichromes is really transparent and requires undies. I don't mind layering though. They're totally worth it.

The colour shifts from green/teal to purple and even golden orange/bronze. It's so hard to describe it so I'll just let you enjoy the photos. I took so many and it was hard even to narrow it down to these. And of course I couldn't resist taking some pics with the Starbucks tumbler. I love it so much. Thanks again for getting it for me Ashley

It's a shame that these polishes were discontinued, especially as I'm still missing a few to complete my collection! I hope to get them someday lol. Until then, I'll continue to love the ones I have.

What do you think of this polish? Are you a fan of multichromes too?

Ozotic polishes are no longer available but certain shades (not the 500 series as far as I'm aware) have been reincarnated by Picture Polish

Elevation Polish & Girly Bits LE Bamboozled Duo

Hi everyone! Today I have a really cool duo to show you. This is the Bamboozled duo by Elevation Polish and Girly Bits which is inspired by bamboo! It's so unique and fun and I hope you like it as much as I do.

The duo is made up of a nude/brown polish from Elevation and a bright green from Girly Bits. I decided to wear them together and add some fun nail art.

Elevation Polish & Girly Bits LE Bamboozled Duo - sunlight

Arashiyama (the Elevation shade) is described as a 'sandy nude with holographic pigment and medium density charcoal flake shimmer. Representing bamboo in it’s dry state'. I used 2 coats of Arashiyama and found the formula and application fantastic. I love the charcoal flecks and touch of holo which make it complex and different to other nude polishes. I wondered if this shade would suit me after I saw swatches but I actually really love it on me. It's a really good neutral and classy colour.

Elevation Polish & Girly Bits LE Bamboozled Duo - sunlight

BamBoom! (the Girly Bits shade) is described as a 'soft neon green shade with holographic pigment and a twinkle of green holographic micro glitters. Representing how fresh and alive bamboo is'. I used 2 coats of BamBoom! I really love this polish. It's one of those fabulous shimmolos that Pam does so well! The combination of the bright colour, shimmer, holo and glitter make this really flashy. I used 2 coats of BamBoom! The first coat was a little bit patchy but the second evened everything out nicely.

Elevation Polish & Girly Bits LE Bamboozled Duo - Artificial light
Because the duo is inspired by bamboo, my first thought was panda nail art! So I used acrylic paints, and dotting tools to freehand a panda on my ring finger. I used a few thin stripes of Arashiyama and acrylic paints for the bamboo on my middle finger.

I really like how this mani turned out. It was really fun to wear and I love that the duo inspired the nail art!

The Bamboozled Duo is limited-edition and currently still available to purchase on the Elevation Polish site

Elevation Polish - SBP The Star Flower

Hi everyone! Today I have another Elevation Polish to show you, and it's another one with flakies. I know, I know... another one. But these are my obsession right now and my blog is a perfect representation of what I'm really wearing at the moment. I don't have as much time right now to do my nails and these pretties are really what's on them for at least a couple of days. I promise I will change it up a bit for those of you who might want to see other brands. But no apologies for the awesome Elevations. They are sooo gorgeous!

This beauty is an SBP called The Star Flower. I was lucky enough to snag it last month and I do not regret it at all. I mean I knew I wouldn't but still... It's purple, squishy and full of flakies. There's nothing not to love.

Elevation Polish - SBP The Star Flower

The Star Flower is a gorgeous bright purple, with a jelly type texture and loads of flakes. Lulu described it as a 'Vivid purple (thermal shift to pink, doesn't always want to shift), Ultra chrome flakes, bronze shimmer, gold shimmer, green shimmer, very very sparse holo (won't even notice it's there)' and I can't do much better than that.

Elevation Polish - SBP The Star Flower

I used 2 coats of The Star Flower. My second coat was a more careful one to avoid any dragging but application was by no means difficult. I absolutely love the multicoloured flakes in this! So complex and pretty! Lulu's description is right about the thermal aspect of things, I didn't notice a huge colour change at all, just a slight shift sometimes which is totally fine by me.

What do you think of this one? Do you have any Elevations with flakies?

Elevation Polish - SBS Spindrift 2

Hi everyone! Today I have a fun polish to share with you. I was lucky enough to snag a mystery exclusive in the recent Elevation Polish mystery sale. I was so excited to receive my order containing the mystery shade and I was super happy to discover this one when I opened the package! This is SBS Spindrift 2.

Elevation Polish - SBS Spindrift 2

Elevation Polish - SBS Spindrift 2

SBS stands for Small Batch Sample. You can check out Lulu's recent blog post here for more info on these and SBPs.

Elevation Polish - SBS Spindrift 2

SBS Spindrift 2 is a gorgeous aqua creme filled with iridescent flakes in orange and green. The flakes are a bit more obvious in the bottle than on the nail but I think a thinner second coat would have helped them to stand out more. I used 2 coats of Spindrift 2 and a coat of topcoat.

I have only ever seen one swatch of the first Spindrift, by Ida at Ida Nails It and it looks like although these two share a name, they're not very similar at all.

Elevation Polish - SBS Spindrift 2

I love the flash of orange flakes in this which are a lovely contrast, just look at them! Lulu does polishes in this colour family so so well.

What do you think of this polish? Did you snag any mystery polishes?

Elevation Polish - Tre Cime di Lavaredo

Hi everyone! Up today I have Tre Cime Di Lavaredo from Elevation Polish, a lovely metallic holographic shade.

Tre Cime di Lavaredo was released back in August 2014 as part of the Italian collection. I personally love that collection and this one was one of my favourites from it. Lulu describes Tre Cime di Lavaredo as a 'Gold (Medium/High density) holographic. Medium thick style formula. In certain lights the gold shifts to a light green sparkle'.

Elevation Polish - Tre Cime di Lavaredo

The finish is reakly special. It's both metallic and holographic and looks stunning in all lighting. The metallic side comes out more when not in bright sunlight, if that makes sense. I found that the gold colour shows more in the shade or artificial lighting and the holo takes over more in the sun, as you can see in my photos.

Elevation Polish - Tre Cime di Lavaredo

This was actually the mani (and pedi) I wore to a wedding recently when I was having trouble choosing what to wear to match my dress. Tre Cime di Lavaredo was the answer. It is neutral yet eye-catching and I knew it would match whatever I wanted to wear for a birthday party later on when I wouldn't have time to redo my nails!

Elevation Polish - Tre Cime di Lavaredo

I used 2 coats of Tre Cime di Lavaredo and a coat of topcoat. The formula is on the thicker side and applies wonderfully.

What do you think of this one? Tre Cime di Lavaredo is part of Elevation's core collection and is still available to purchase. I highly recommend it.

Elevation Polish - Cloud Peak Swatches & Review

Hi everyone! Tonight I have another gorgeous Elevation Polish to show you. I know there have been a lot of Elevation posts recently but as you probably know I just love this brand and I'm just so excited to wear all my new ones!

This is another polish with ultra chrome flakies (if you missed my swatches of Yeti's Healing Vibes, you can check those out here) and I think it might be one of my most favourite Elevations. It is really that beautiful.

Elevation Polish - Cloud Peak

Cloud Peak is blue perfection and was released in the April Wyoming in the Wild collection. Lulu describes it as a 'Bright Light Blue with Black flake shimmer, Ultra Chrome flakies, and holographic pigment'. The colour shifting flakies which shine out from the creme colour are just stunning. I love blue polish and I feel like this just so wearable!

Elevation Polish - Cloud Peak

Elevation Polish - Cloud Peak

The formula and application are just as awesome as the colour. I used 2 buttery coats and a coat of topcoat and wore it for daaaays! I was actually sad to take it off (to wear another Elevation! The struggle is real!)

Elevation Polish - Yeti's Healing Vibes (AHF Charity Polish)

Hi everyone! Today I would like to share the recent charity polish called Yeti's Healing Vibes from Elevation Polish.

This special polish was released to help with Earthquake relief in Nepal after the disaster. This shade was originally only going to be available during the month of May but Lulu extended it after Nepal was hit by a second earthquake. 10 USD from the sale of each bottle is donated directly to the American Himalayan Foundation. Isn't that fantastic? I was of course very happy to order this stunning polish, especially for a great cause. You can read more about it in Lulu's blog posts about it here and here

Elevation Polish - Yeti's Healing Vibes - AHF Charity Polish

Yeti's Healing Vibes is described as a 'Jade crelly with a blend of Ultra chrome flakes in 2 colors, gunmetal flake shimmer, White/Silver flake shimmer and aqua micro shimmer'.

This reminds me a lot of some of the other flakie polishes from Elevation recently, which are all beautiful. This is like a jade version of Cloud Peak, a new favourite of mine (blog post coming soon).

Elevation Polish - Yeti's Healing Vibes - AHF Charity Polish

I used 2 coats of Yeti's Healing Vibes and application and formula were fantastic. I finished with one coat of topcoat. I don't often wear green polish but this is just so wearable. It's not too bright but not too muted.

Yeti's Healing Vibes is currently still in stock on the Elevation Polish site

4th of July - Darling Diva Are You Medusa? Because You Make Me Rock Hard! & Red Dog Designs Let Freedom Bling!

Hi everyone! Today's post has a long title huh? Sorry I couldn't think of anything better. But as you might have guessed, I have a 4th of July mani to share with you today.

I know I'm not American or in the US but it's still a good excuse for nice nails and to pull some pretty glitter polish out of my Helmers. I love seeing all the patriotic nail art from other bloggers so I wanted to join in.

Darling Diva - Are You Medusa? Because You Make Me Rock Hard! & Red Dog Designs - Let Freedom Bling! - Sunlight

I did however decide to pass on the super obvious American nail art and do something understated instead which would be more wearable for a few days. I recently got Darling Diva's Are You Medusa? Because You Make Me Rock Hard! from my lovely friend Jen from My Nail Polish Obsession. She knew I had been eyeing this beauty and surprised me with it. Well I totally love it! It's a gorgeous glowy smooth red holo. It has that gorgeous velvety aspect that I love so much, especially in red! So classy!

Darling Diva - Are You Medusa? Because You Make Me Rock Hard! & Red Dog Designs - Let Freedom Bling! - Sunlight

I found the formula to be on the thicker side but totally manageable and easy enough to apply. I used 2 coats and one coat of topcoat. It is pretty hot here at the moment (for where I live anyway) so I suspect that may have something to do with it...

Darling Diva - Are You Medusa? Because You Make Me Rock Hard! & Red Dog Designs - Let Freedom Bling! - Artificial Lighting

I added an accent nail of Red Dog Designs Let Freedom Bling! This glitter polish was released back in 2013 for the 4th of July so unfortunately it is no longer available. However Gina does currently have another 4th of July polish in stock right now called Red, White, & BOOM! which looks awesome too! If you are familiar with Red Dog Designs you might know how Gina makes some of the best glitter polishes out there. I love her stuff!

Darling Diva - Are You Medusa? Because You Make Me Rock Hard! & Red Dog Designs - Let Freedom Bling! - Artificial Lighting

This one is so sparkly and it's like fireworks on your nails. The clear base is packed with red, white and blue glitters in a variety of shapes and sizes (including bars and microbars, hexes and micro glitter) as well as touches of silver and silver stars! I applied one coat on my ring fingers and I did not have to fish for glitter pieces, not even the stars. I used 2 coats of topcoat over my accent nails to smooth things out because of the stars but depending on your topcoat you may only need one.

Overall I love how this mani came out, sometimes a something simple turns out to be really fun to wear! I cannot wait to put this Darling Diva polish onto my toes either. I have a feeling it will turn into a favourite pedi colour!

What do you think of this combo? What are you wearing on your nails for July 4th?
