Elevation Polish - East London

Hi everyone! I have a simple but pretty mani to share with you today. I feel like this is a bit of a different sort of mani for me, quite understated and not a pairing I'd usually make when it comes to nail polish.

Ever since my bottle of Elevation Polish East London (Street Graffiti Collection, June 2015) arrived, I had been trying to decide what colour to wear it over. East London is described by Lulu as a 'Blend of Ultra Chrome flake shimmer and holographic pigment in a clear base. Meant to be used as a topper.'

Many of the swatches I had seen of it had been over Elevation Polish LA (from the same collection) or other light colours. I loved the look and decided to go even lighter and more delicate on the base. I chose my faithful nude Essie BBF Best Boyfriend. Typically I use this polish for french manicures when I want a really natural look. It's like my nails but better. It was a nice delicate undie for East London and avoided any VNL (visible nail line). I used 2 coats of BBF and then added 2 coats of East London and finished with topcoat.

The formula of East London is fantastic. You could wear just one coat too because there are so many flakes and you don't have to fish at all. The holo finish combined with the flakes is really pretty. I absolutely love the different sized flakies and especially the big ones that got onto a couple of my nails!
