Elevation Polish Alpine Heights (Carlit) with A-England And the Moonbeams... and Snowflake Glitter

Hi everyone! Today I have another festive manicure for you. I haven't done many due to a lack of time recently but I was really happy with this one.

I recently got a package from my friend Jen from My Nail Polish Obsession and she had included these cute little snowflake glitter pieces with some other adorable extras (thank you Jen!).

I couldn't resist using them as soon as possible and decided to pair the gold with a rich green. I chose Elevation Polish Alpine Heights, a perfect dark green creme with a fantastic formula. I used 2 buttery coats.

To add a bit of sparkle I sponged a bit of A-England's And The Moonbeams... diagonally over the tips of my nails. I love this polish and have reached for it a lot recently. It's the perfect way to add a little bit of glitz to any colour! I added a snowflake glitter to my ring fingernails as an accent, using topcoat to stick them and then seal everything. The glitter snowflakes don't lie completely flat on my nail but enough to not catch on anything or come off. I really love how simple and sophisticated they are!

Elevation Polish Sunset among the Palms & Ninja Yeti

Hi everyone! Tonight's post is a simple combo I wore a few weeks back and absolutely loved.

This gorgeous magenta is Sunset among the Palms from Elevation Polish, part of the Hawaiian Punch collection from November which I think is an absolutely amazing collection with colours that are right up my street.

Elevation Polish Sunset Among the Palms & Ninja Yeti

Lulu describes this one as a 'magenta/pink with a dash of holographic pigment and charcoal shift to blue flake shimmer' and I can't do much better than that! I love the depth of this polish and how interesting the flakes and shimmer make it. It is definitely way more than your average holographic!

Elevation Polish Sunset Among the Palms & Ninja Yeti

I decided to enjoy this colour with some simple embellishment. I added some glitter for an accent nail and some dots on the other nails. I used one coat of Ninja Yeti, also by Elevation, which was a gift with some orders a while back. Ninja Yeti is full of black glitter in different shapes and sizes as well as micro-glitter and shimmer. I finished off with a coat of topcoat.

I really enjoyed the simplicity of this manicure and the combination of the magenta and black. What do you think of it? Did you pick up any polishes from the Hawaiian Punch collection?

A-England Perceval with Moyou Snowflakes

Hi everyone! Today I have a festive mani to share with you! This is my first real Christmas nail art of the year and I wore it for my recent trip to Alsace and Germany to see some Christmas markets over there!

When figuring out what to wear for the weekend, I knew I wanted something very festive that immediately screamed Christmas and would match most outfits and my red coat!

I went for my trusty Perceval from A-England because I seem to be able to wear Adina's polishes for ages without any tip wear or chipping.

A-England Perceval & Moyou Snowflakes

Perceval is an amazing, glowy, metallic red and is definitely in my top few red polishes! I used two buttery coats.

I then stamped some snowflakes from the Moyou Festive 02 plate and Konad white stamping polish and finished with a coat of topcoat. My Moyou plates are a relatively recent purchase and I'm really enjoying them.

I loved how this mani turned out and it was perfect for my weekend away! What do you think of it? Have you tried Moyou plates?

Colors by Llarowe - Sparkles Are a Girl's Best Friend

Hi everyone! I have a quick swatch post for you today of a polish I wore a while back. This is Colors by Llarowe Sparkles Are a Girl's Best Friend, a gorgeous hot pink holographic.

Colors by Llarowe - Sparkles Are a Girl's Best Friend

I couldn't resist ordering this because it looked so bright and fun. I wasn't disappointed. The formula and application were great. The texture is a crelly and builds to opacity nicely in two coats. I finished my mani with a coat of topcoat and ended up wearing this without nail art and just enjoying it on it's own.

If you are looking for a great pink holo, I'd definitely recommend this one! I know I will wear it time and time again.

OPI DS Glow & Lacquistry I Make it Rain (Leaves)

Hi everyone! Today I wanted to share a mani with you that I wore a few weeks ago when I fancied something really appropriate for Autumn!

This is OPI DS Glow, a gorgeous brown-gold metallic shimmer polish. It really sparkles in direct light and shifts between more brown tones to more gold and neutral ones. The formula and application are really lovely. I used 2 coats.

OPI DS Glow & Lacquistry I Make it Rain (Leaves)

To add even more sparkle, I decided to do an accent of Lacquistry's I Make it Rain (Leaves) from the 2012 (I think) fall line-up. This was part of the Sweater Weather trio along with Cornucopia and Pickin' Punkins in the Patch. This is a gorgeous glitter polish, predominantly gold tones with red and green in different sizes and shapes. It is really representative of Autumn and falling leaves and would look stunning over a variety of colours. I also think that this polish would work nicely for Christmas. I used one coat and finished off with a coat of topcoat.

What do you think of this combo? I really like how it turned out and I enjoyed the simplicity of it.

Rescue Beauty Lounge - Motorini

Hi everyone! I have a short and sweet post for you today to share a mani I wore a few weeks back.

This stunner is Motorini by Rescue Beauty Lounge from the Italian Summer collection. This was my one must-have from this collection. I am a huge fan of Aqua Lily and Ji describes Motorini as 'her moodier, darker sister'. I can't do much better than that. This is a gorgeous 'medium base of blue/aqua has a flash of surging fuchsia shimmer'

Rescue Beauty Lounge - Motorini

I used 2 coats of Motorini and the formula was great. I ended up not doing nail art over it because I loved how it looked alone and couldn't actually decide what design I would do anyway.

Girly Bits Crunchy Leaves over OPI Hey Baby!

Hi everyone! Today I have a simple but (I think) unexpected combo for you today.

I really love Crunchy Leaves, a beautiful glitter polish from Girly Bits and a while back, I decided to try it over a pink base! I had recently purchased the OPI Gwen Stefani collection and decided to use the lovely pink creme, Hey Baby.

I started out with two coats of Hey Baby which has a great formula. It's not the most original of colours but if you are looking for a great pink creme, this could be it!

Girly Bits Cosmetics - Crunchy Leaves over OPI - Hey Baby

I then added a coat of Crunchy Leaves (which is now unfortunately retired). Pam, the genius behind Girly Bits describes this polish as a 'medium-dense glitter mix of orange, copper, brown, and red, in a sheer earthy base'. I finished off my mani with a coat of topcoat.

I love how this looks over pink and it makes a lovely change from wearing it alone or over browns or other autumn shades. What do you think of this combo?
