Paisley Nails - Born Pretty Store Comma Rhinestones

Press Sample/Review

Hi everyone! Today I have some Paisley nail art to show you!

I had been wanting to redo some Paisley patterned nails for a while and when I was sent these comma-shaped rhinestones from Born Pretty Store, I knew they would be perfect for the design I had in mind.

I started out my manicure with 2 coats of Elevation Polish Mount McKinley described by Lulu as a 'bright lilac jelly creme'. This is a lovely shiny, squishy, pretty shade for summer. I love it.

I then used acrylic paints to paint the basic shapes for my paisley pattern. I used a fine detail brush for the outlines then added the dots with a small dotting tool. I then added the comma shaped rhinestones into the centres of each shape using my dotting tool and some topcoat. I finished everything off with a coat of topcoat.

The rhinestones held really well and I wore this manicure for 4 days with no issues. I don't really have anything negative to say about these. They are perfectly shaped and cut, with a good variety of colours in the wheel and they will last me forever. I only wish that there were some shaped with the pointed end in the opposite direction. I hope that makes sense...like two apostrophes. That way I could have used them more easily any way around and in all of the shapes in this design rather than falling back on regular round rhinestones.
