Superficially Colorful Lacquer - Imaginary Narwhals

Press Sample/Review

Hi everyone! Today's post will be a short and sweet one. You may have already seen my swatches of Superficially Colorful Lacquer's 'My Favourite Things' collection but if you missed it you can check it out here

In that post, I swatched the polishes alone but I have also worn Imaginary Narwhals over a base colour. I like how it looks like this too so I wanted to show you!

Superficially Colorful Lacquer - Imaginary Narwhals over Superficially Colourful Lacquer - Eye of the Storm

Imaginary Narwhals is the silver glitter from the collection. Jin, the creator of SCL, describes it as 'Silver holographic micro glitter with occasional silver stars in a clear base'.

I decided to layer this over a dark colour to really make the glitter pop. I started out with 2 coats of Superficially Colorful Lacquer 'Eye of the Storm' which is a gorgeous rich blue from the Remnants of Winter collection.

I then added one coat of Imaginary Narwhals. Application was easy and the formula is good. You might have to fish for some stars if you really want them on most nails but as they are meant to be sparse, I was happy with or without and didn't put much effort into finding them.

So what do you think of this manicure? Will you be picking up any polishes from either of these collections?

Both collections are available for purchase from the Superficially Colorful site. You can like Superficially Colorful Lacquer on Facebook to keep up with releases, info and sneak peeks!

The products in this post were provided for my honest review.
