Be My Valentine! - Mickey & Minnie Mouse

Hi everyone! Today I'll be showing you my favourite Valentine's manicure from the ones I have done this year!

I was actually supposed to go to Disneyland Paris last week and this was what I chose to do on my nails for the occasion. I wanted to go for a Disney mani and thought why not make it a Disney Valentine themed one?! My trip ended up being cancelled because of the severe weather warnings and storms we have had here recently. That was sad but at least I had awesome nails!

Mickey & Minnie Mouse Kiss

So to start out my design, I painted my middle and ring fingernails white using Essie Blanc (2 coats) then applied 2 coats of OPI's OPI Red on the rest of my nails. I love OPI Red, it is the perfect red creme with a hint of shimmer to add depth. It is definitely my go-to red along with OPI Big Apple Red. What can I say, OPI just know how to do this colour!

I then used acrylic paints and a fine detail brush to paint a silhouette of Mickey and Minnie on the white nails, facing eachother and leaning in for a kiss. I used a small dotting tool to add some hearts in the background using OPI Red. I finished everything off with white polkadots on the red nails, like Minnie's signature red dress!

What do you think of this manicure! I almost didn't want to take it off, even after wearing it for days!
