SoFlaJo Last To Leave - Swatches & Review

Press Sample

Hi everyone!

Today I have another beauty from SoFlaJo to show you!

Last To Leave is from the Party Time collection. This is a matte green polish with a gorgeous glass-flecked texture.
Here is Jody's description of Last To Leave:
Everybody knows those people that are the Last to Leave the party. This green matte polish is dedicated to the last one out the door when the party’s over. Oh yeah, please turn out the lights! Opacity is reached in two coats.

SoFlaJo Last To Leave

I used 2 coats of Last To Leave. The formula was really good and very easy to work with, not thick at all like some matte polishes I have used. It also dried quickly.

I also tried adding topcoat to my mani to see how it looked. As you can see, it is just as beautiful.

OPI Peace & Love & OPI

Hi everyone! I have one of the San Francisco collection OPIs to show you today.

This is Peace & Love & OPI and it went straight onto my wishlist as soon as the promo pics for the collection came out.

OPI Peace & Love & OPI

Peace & Love & OPI is a duochrome and its a really fantastic one which pulls between grey, purple and green. The colour shift is very obvious and I spent a lot of time staring at my nails while wearing this mani.

OPI Peace & Love & OPI

I used 2 coats for opacity. The formula was amazing and application was a breeze. I was really reminded once again why OPI is one of my absolute favourite brands.

I decided to embellish my mani with some nail art using acrylic paints in black and white, a detail brush and a small dotting tool.

It was a very quick nail art but I was really happy with the result.

I really loved this colour and nail art combination and was sad to take it off. It definitely didn't disappoint after the promo pics and for me, its the star of the collection. I really hope OPI makes more duochromes like this soon because this one is a new favourite in my stash.

What do you think of this one? Did you pick up any of the OPI San Francisco collection?

OPI polishes are available from various retailers.

SoFlaJo Blue Martini

Press Sample

Hi everyone! Today I have a glitter from SoFlaJo to show you!

I was excited to try this polish as it has diamond shaped glitters in it which I didn't previously have in my collection!

Blue Martini is a blue jelly polish packed with glitter from Jody's Happy Hour collection.
She describes it as 'a blue jelly filled with multiple sized diamond, short tinsel, and round holo glitters.'

SoFlaJo Blue Martini

I loved the shade of blue and decided to layer it over something similar as my mani for the weekend. I chose OPI Teal The Cows Come Home (which has a weird name because its not at all teal to me...)

SoFlaJo Blue Martini

I used one coat of Blue Martini and because there's so much glitter and it comes out onto the brush easily, there was enough.

Application was easy and the formula was just perfect to work with. It also dried quickly.

I have also done a comparison to show you how Blue Martini looks on its own and with other bases.
My pointer shows Blue Martini over OPI Teal the Cows Come Home as before, my middle finger over black (A-England Camelot), my ring finger over white (Essie Blanc) and my pinkie is two coats of Blue Martini alone.

As you can see, it can certainly be worn on its own if you love squishy jelly texture polishes and dont mind some visible nail line. The shimmer really shows up over black and it's gorgeous too!

SoFlaJo Blue Martini

This is definitely a very versatile polish. What do you think of it? Do you own any SoFlaJo colours from the Happy Hour collection?

SoFlaJo polishes can be purchased from the SoFlaJo website and Etsy store. Keep up with news and info from SoFlaJo over on the SoFlaJo Facebook page
