My Christmas Mani - Yeti and Reindeer!

Hi everyone! Merry Christmas!

Today's post is a short and sweet one but I just wanted to show you my Christmas manicure. This is what I wore for Réveillon (Christmas Eve) and Christmas day.

I knew I wanted to wear Elevation Polish Yeti Loves The Holidays and sort of based my manicure around it. I started out with 2 coats of China Glaze Gussied Up Green which is a gorgeous green shimmer from the brand's 2008 fall collection. Formula and application were good.

The dark base is perfect for Yeti Loves The Holidays as it allows all the delicious golden shimmer to really stand out. Yeti is described by Lulu, the genius behind Elevation Polish as a 'Clear base with loads of gold micro shimmer, gold flake shimmer, blend of white glitters, including circles, Red circles, Green circles and Gold holographic stars'. This is spot on and I couldn't do any better.

I used one coat and slightly dabbed a few of the glitters to place them where I wanted on my nails. The gold shimmer in this polish is AMAZING! I love the variety of glitters and how festive it is. I'm sure this will look great over lots of colours.

For my accent nail, I started out with 2 coats of A England Excalibur (new version) and then freehanded a Rudolph the red-nosed reindeer using Elevation Polish Tette for the face and acrylic paints and a fine detail brush for the rest.
