Autumn Week - One Stroke Leaves

Hi everyone! Today starts a themed nail art week I'm doing with some lovely fellow bloggers!

I'm kicking things off with this mani of autumn leaves. As soon as I think of autumn, I think of the changing leaves and gorgeous tones of yellow, orange and brown.

I decided to do my mani featuring these shades and falling leaves.

I started out with 2 coats of The Arches II by Elevation Polish from the september Stones Throw collection. Lulu describes The Arches II as a 'Rusted Orange/Red with low shine, slightly textured finish'. This colour is stunning and as soon as I saw photos of the collection, I knew I would have to have this one. I was not disappointed and it will be an autumn essential for me.
Formula and application were perfect, as I have come to expect from Elevation Polish. I reached perfect opacity in 2 easy coats.

For my nail art I used a flat brush to create my one stroke leaves using yellow and orange acrylic paints then I added the detail with a fine detail brush.

I finished my mani with one coat of topcoat to seal the design. I loved this so much I wore it for a week.

What do you think of this mani? Do you think of leaves right away when you think autumn?

Be sure to check out the manis from the other bloggers participating in Autumn week. See you tomorrow for another Autumn design!

Elevation Polishes can be purchased from the Elevation Polish Store and Llarowe
