I chose to do some freehand nail art today. I started out with 2 coats of China Glaze Ingrid on all nails except my ring finger where I wanted my accent nail on which I used OPI Did You 'ear About Van Gogh from the Spring 2012 Holland collection.

Over China Glaze Ingrid, I used my fine detail brush and acrylic paint to paint a wooden print.
My accent nail is sort of a funny story...I set out to paint a squirrel...finished it and showed my husband who said 'it's a fox!'. Um... so I guess I painted a fox with an acorn. Oh well, I think he's cute so I wanted to share him anyway!

I finished with a coat of topcoat. I'm happy with how this mani turned out and really loved the wooden print more than I expected.
What do you think of this mani?
This looks great! I am loving the wood grain.
ReplyDeleteWow that is incredible free hand! Nice work!
ReplyDeleteIt's a squox! They're very rare. ;) I totally thought the wood grain was a stamp!
