Lynnderella Topaz Optimism

Press Sample
Hey everyone! Today I have another Lynnderella polish from the Birthstones and Talismans collection to show you. You can see my swatches and review of Peridot Power here if you missed it.

This beauty is called Topaz Optimism and its the yellow of the collection, which represents the birthstone of the month of November. Lynnderella describes this as 'assorted golds and satin yellow glitters in a clear base'.

Yellow polish is not usually my thing but this one is gorgeous...I think because of the mix of gold and yellow it is much easier to wear and combine with different base colours.

I chose to layer Topaz Optimism over Illamasqua Load and really loved the delicate result. It shows that yellow really doesn't always have to be an 'in your face' colour! I'm looking forward to trying different colour combinations with this one and having fun with it.

I used 2 coats of Load then one dabbed coat of Topaz Optimism. I easily got a variety of glitters on the nail, including stars and flowers without any trouble at all.

So what do you think of this mani? Do you wear yellow polish?
