Darling Diva Polish - Deadpool Collection Part 2; Even Deader - Swatches & Review

Hi everyone! Today I have swatches of the new Deadpool Collection Part 2; Even Deader from Darling Diva Polish to show you. This is a fun collection with some great finishes! The names of the polishes are inspired by the film Deadpool so heads up, there's some strong language. The maker's descriptions of each shade are in italic and my notes are just after. So here goes...(post is photo heavy)

Darling Diva Deadpool Collection Part 2; Even Deader

British Sh*t Stick
Deep blurpley blue to red color shifting polish with added holographic flakies. Best in three thin coats.
The shiftiness in this is more obvious in real life and hard to capture. A stunning, rich polish.

Fat Gandolf
Stunning green to purple shifting polish with holographic flakies. Best in three thin coats.
This is my favourite from the multichrome portion of this collection. A stunning and obvious shift between green and purple, my favourite kind of multichrome, plus flakies!

The Digit-al Dozen does Rainbow - Day 5 - My Little Pony

Hi everyone! It's the last day of Digit-al Dozen week today and I'm finishing with a fun freehand My Little Pony mani! I loved My Little Pony when I was little and thought it would be perfect for the rainbow theme!

Like my Rainbow Brite mani earlier in the week, I wanted to incorporate a custom glitter polish into my design.

The Digit-al Dozen does Rainbow - Day 4 - My Little Pony Rainbow Watermarble

I started out my mani with a white base then watermarbled using all of the Pipe Dream Polish Mellowed Out Cremes except Unwind (the beige/nude) which I replaced with Sinful Colors Unicorn, a yellow creme. I then freehanded a My Little Pony onto my ring fingernail using acrylic paints and a fine detail brush. I then applied glitters from my Red Dog Designs My Little Pony custom on the other nails using a dotting tool for a sparse look and to avoid covering up the rainbow marble. As always, I finished with a coat of topcoat.

The Digit-al Dozen does Rainbow - Day 4 - Superficially Colorful Neon Gradient + Stamping

Hi everyone! It's already day 4 of Digit-al Dozen Rainbow week and I couldn't let the week go by without doing a rainbow gradient! I pulled out one of my favourite 'rainbow' collections for this mani, the beautiful Life on Pandora holographic neons from Superficially Colorful Lacquer.

I used all of the colours except one for this mani. The colours are Omaticaya (blue), Utral Aymokriyä (purple), Atokirina (pink), Toruk Matko (orange), Menari (yellow) and The Sacred Tsaheylu (green). I sponged my gradient over a white base and then added some stamping using Konad black stamping polish and the leaf design from the MoYou Tropical 05 plate. I finished everything with a coat of topcoat as always.

The Digit-al Dozen does Rainbow - Day 3 - Skittles, Taste the Rainbow

Hi everyone! Today for Day 3 of Digit-al Dozen Rainbow week I have a bit of a twist on a dotticure for you. When thinking of possible ideas for the 'rainbow' theme, the slogan from the Skittles advert, 'Taste the Rainbow' popped into my head! So I decided to do some Skittles nails!

The Digit-al Dozen does Rainbow - Day 3 - Skittles Dotticure

I started out with 2 coats of OPI Alpine Snow and then used Big Apple Red, Funky Dunkey, I Just Can't Cope-acabana, Toucan Do It If You Try and Essie Mojito Madness to make a rough rainbow of dots over the white base. I then used a fine detail brush and some white acrylic paint to paint an 'S' onto each dot to turn them into Skittles! As usual, I finished with a coat of topcoat.

What do you think of this mani? It just made me want some Skittles!

The Digit-al Dozen does Rainbow - Day 2 - Rainbow Brite

Hi everyone! For Day 2 of Digit-al Dozen Rainbow week, I've done a Rainbow Brite design! As soon as I saw that we were doing this theme, I knew I had to do this design. It was the perfect occasion to break out a custom polish I've had in my untrieds for a while now!

The Digit-al Dozen does Rainbow - Day 2 - Rainbow Brite

I started out my mani with 2 coats of Salon Perfect Electric Avenue, a bright blue jelly glitter polish. I then applied one coat of my Rainbow Brite custom polish by Red Dog Designs on all the nails I wouldn't be handpainting.

I then freehanded Rainbow Brite on my ring fingernail and Twink, her adorable sidekick, on my little fingernail using a fine detail brush and acrylic paints. I think it could have come out a bit better but unfortunately I was in a hurry and didn't get to spend as much time on this one as I would have liked. I'm not too disappointed with the final result though. I finished off my design with a coat of topcoat as always.

The Digit-al Dozen does Rainbow - Day 1 - Pipe Dream Polish Mellowed Out Cremes Watermarble

Hi everyone! It is Digit-al Dozen time again! This month our theme is Rainbow! I have to say, I LOVE this theme and it wasn't hard to come up with ideas! It was hard to narrow them down though and decide what to actually do!

I knew immediately that I'd have to do a rainbow watermarble. Who doesn't love a good old rainbow marble?? And the timing was perfect as I wanted to try out the Mellowed Out Cremes collection from Pipe Dream Polish. We all know Pipe Dreams and watermarbles just go together...

Pipe Dream Polish - Mellowed Out Cremes Watermarble

So how I did it... I started out with a white base as always with watermarbling. I used one coat of OPI Alpine Snow. I then used all of the colours in the Mellowed Out Cremes collection to marble. The colours are Chillax (blue), Peace Out (purple), Take It Easy (pink), Positive Vibes (orange), Unwind (nude/beige) and Keep Calm (green). They spread out perfectly on the water and were easy to work with. I finished off with a coat of topcoat as always.

I just had to include a photo of my awkward right hand because I think the marble turned out nicely on that hand too, maybe even better? Typical!

What do you think of this mani? Did you pick up any of the colours from this collection?

A England Russian Soul Collection Swatches

Hi everyone! Today I have the new A England Russian Soul collection for you!

This collection is made up of 5 holographic shades inspired by Russian music and dance and as usual from A England, they are right up my street.

A England - Russian Soul collection

Katyusha
'dramatic and unique flashing of rainbow hues, like a light opal on a precius holographic base'
2 coats plus topcoat. I love the subtle shiftiness to this polish, it's a great alternative to your standard 'neutral' type colour. I can see myself wearing this a lot.

Kalinka
'delicate and iridescent as a rainbow moonstone blended with a lavish holo core'
2 coats plus topcoat. This is a lovely delicate silvery lilac, a classic A England type colour and finish.

Waltz of the Flowers
'light blue purple multichrome with hints of lilac and a dazzling hologram effect'
2 coats plus topcoat. A shimmery, glowy purple discreet holo. I love the finish on this one.

Polovetsian Dances
'deep intense purple enhanced by the luscious prismatic hologram finish'
2 coats plus topcoat. This is my favourite from the collection. A gorgeous, rich purple and exactly my type of colour.

Natasha's Dance War & Peace

'black with dark blue undertones and an extraordinary play of holographic shimmer'
2 coats plus topcoat. My other favourite from this collection. I love a good black and black nails have been my go-to recently. This one will pop up in my rotation a lot I'm sure. I love the blue undertone to it in the sunlight.

This is another stunning collection from A England. I expect nothing less than excellent by now and these lived up to my expectations. I was especially wowed by Polovetsian Dances, Natasha's Dance War & Peace and Katyusha. The formula and application were perfect on all of them.

What do you think of these? What are your picks from this collection?
